Information for Families

Directions & Parking | CHDD Clinical Services

Families coming to the CHDD for clinical services or for participation in research programs should read the information below for details about getting to our facilities and what to expect on arrival. A list of informational materials and resource links are also provided.

Clinical services at CHDD serve individuals with or at risk for developmental, learning, and behavioral problems and their families. Clinics also serve adults with a variety of neurodegenerative disorders and related disabilities. An interdisciplinary team approach assures comprehensive and integrated services.

CHDD also runs dozens of studies each year to increase knowledge on many aspects of developmental disabilities. These research projects range from laboratory studies to evaluations that involve research participants. You can find out more about research activities by using the search engine on the top of the page and typing in a specific research topic (e.g., FAS) followed by the word "research."

Directions & Parking

The Center on Human Development and Disability (CHDD) is located on the Health Sciences Campus at the University of Washington, directly south of the University of Washington Medical Center. A fee is charged for parking in campus parking lots; some clinics provide parking validation passes.
